How we got here
It started the way these things usually do. One printer, one weekend, and a kid who wanted a dragon that could actually move its tail. We got it right, and nobody in this house has lost interest since.
That one printer became two, then a shelf, then a room. We are now well past twenty of them, running out of a workshop on our country property in Ontario. They start in the morning and most are still going when the kids go to bed.
The six-year-old runs quality control
Our two are six and seven, and they are genuinely part of this. They pick which designs we try next, they test every articulated joint far more thoroughly than any adult would, and they are unsparing about the ones that are boring. If a print cannot survive a week in their hands, it does not go on the site.

Come find us at a show
Most weekends you will find us at a vendor show somewhere in the province, table covered in dragons, with the kids doing a better job of talking to customers than we do. It is the part of this we like best — watching someone pick up an articulated axolotl and immediately understand why we do this.
Everything is printed to order, cleaned up by hand, and packed by one of us. Nothing is mass-produced overseas and re-labelled. When you order, a printer somewhere in our workshop starts working on your piece specifically.
Twenty printers, one very long extension lead
We print in PLA+ and silk PLA for the sculptural pieces, and flexible TPU for anything meant to be squished. Chunky kid-safe pieces run at 0.20 mm; the detailed sculptures drop to 0.12 mm and take considerably longer.
